The Beach Boys will celebrate over half a century of making music in the magnificent surroundings of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, continuing to ride the crest of a wave unmatched in American musical history. Synonymous with the California lifestyle and revered as global cultural icons, they will salute 60 years of their landmark album Pet Sounds.
Since co-founder, lead singer, and chief lyricist Mike Love wrote the lyrics to their first hit, “Surfin’” (1961), countless chart-toppers have become timeless anthems of American youth, including “Surfin’ USA,” “Surfer Girl,” “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “I Get Around,” “California Girls,” “Help Me, Rhonda,” “Barbara Ann,” “Good Vibrations,” “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” “Rock and Roll Music,” and “Kokomo.”
Set within the 17th-century grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea - designed by Sir Christopher Wren and home to the world-famous Chelsea Pensioners - Live At Chelsea transforms one of London’s most historic and beautiful landmarks into a world-class outdoor stage.
Situated beside the River Thames and moments from Sloane Square, the venue combines breathtaking grandeur with accessibility, offering audiences a truly unique live experience in the heart of Central London.
