Born from the energy of 2024’s Forza Fest, the original crew is back with a new mission: The Rebel City Sessions. We’re tapping into Nottingham’s legendary rebel spirit to create something different.
Our goal? Bringing fresh, fast-rising and never before seen acts to the city whilst also shining a spotlight on local talent that’s still criminally under the radar.
Come and join us for the debut ‘Rebel City Sessions’ featuring a lineup of acts we’re incredibly excited to bring to and showcase in Nottingham.

HALF HAPPY
Shooting up through Cardiff’s flourishing music scene is Half Happy. The four-piece bounce around the walls of dream-pop, indie-rock and post punk but don't stay in one place for too long. These 90’s babies mould their influences with fresh force, creating engaging melody-stuffed storytelling. Honest observations melt into day-dream lyrics that stick close to tight indie drums. The bass lines strut while the guitar riffs walk the line of heavy and heavenly.
They released their debut EP ‘Conversation Killer’ in September 2024 with ‘Bloom’ and ‘Well Done Honey’ receiving praise from BBC Radio 6’s Emily Pilbeam, including them in BBC’s Introducing’s Best of The Year. Over 10 years of best-friendship between the band is palpable from their live performance. It’s a running joke that isn’t getting old yet, the band is way more than Half Happy.
“They’re an indie band at its core but with hints of dream pop that make them really stand out” - Emily Pilbeam, BBC Radio 6 Music
“Self-reflective, bittersweet and bloody gorgeous” - Bill Cummings, God Is in the TV
“Their delicate-but-kinetic sound confirms the four-piece’s status as Cardiff’s next great indie band” - Tom Morgan, CLASH Magazine
